What is Mobile Wallet?

Mobile Wallet is a cyber wallet that contains the subscriber’s limit, shipping address and password that were they permitted to use in the TurkcellMobilePayment instructions form that was filled in by the Turkcell subscribers who has a credit card. Each Turkcell line is a Mobile Wallet and you can identify mobile wallets for up to two lines (Mobile Wallet 1 and Mobile Wallet 2). The first one of these wallets will be the prior wallet of your line. Each mobile wallet has different limits and passwords. Mobile wallet’s limit contains the sum of the limits of credit cards. For each credit card, you can identify up to 5.000 YTL limit for the instructions given via Extra and TEB internet banking, and up to 250 YTL limit for the instructions given via the Online Services Center. You can identify up to three credit cards for each mobile wallet.

You can give only one instruction and identify only one credit card if you apply via the Online Services Center. When the instruction is given via the Online Services Center and TEB internet banking, the credit card owner sets his password. When the instruction is given via TurkcellExtra points, the credit card owner assigns his password by calling 4440532/4440535 Turkcell Cunstomer Services.

You can only change the deadline date and limit of Mobile Wallet 1. The address you identified on your Mobile Wallet will be the shipping address for the catalog deliveries. (Example: TeknoSA, Estore (catalog), MerkezDergi etc.)


What happens if the line is shut down or passed to another subscriber or the number is changed?

In case Mobile Wallet 1 line (authorized GSM number) is cancelled or passed to another subscriber, TurkcellMobilePayment subscription of both Mobile Wallet 1 and Mobile Wallet 2 are cancelled.

In case Mobile Wallet 2 line is cancelled or passed to another subscriber, only its subscription is cancelled.

If Mobile Wallet 1 number is changed, the subscription is transferred to the new line and stays active. If Mobile Wallet 2 number is changed, the TurkcellMobilePayment subscription for that wallet is cancelled.

Credit card owners are supposed to cancel their TurkcellMobilePayment subscription in the case of their lines being lost/stolen. Otherwise, all the responsibility belongs to the subscriber, and the subscriber has no right to claim or request anything in any way.


My cell phone has been stolen. Payment could be made by my name? What should I do to prevent this?

It is not possible to shop just with your cell phone without your TurkcellMobilePayment password. So it is your responsibility to delete all the Sent Messages that contain your password.

In case your cell phone is stolen, you have to cancel your line and the mobile wallet of this line by accessing the Online Services Center, by calling 4440532 / 4440535 Turkcell Customer Services or by applying to the nearest Turkcell Extra.


I haven’t done such a payment. What should I do?

Call the bank that the credit card belongs to and make your objection to that bank.


I haven’t entered my TurkcellMobilePayment password for a long time. Can I still confirm my shopping?

If you exceed the confirmation time limit, you will be sent a SMS saying “You exceeded confirmation time limit”. As long as you don’t receive such an SMS, you can confirm your shopping. Otherwise, you will have to make a request for the shopping again.


Why wasn’t my payment confirmed?

Your payment could be not confirmed because of the problems of your credit card, your office or a systemic error. The payment result information will be delivered to you via SMS or a WAP page. For detailed information, you have to consult to the shop.


I want to change my password. What should I do?

You can assign a new password by entering your old password on www.turkcell.com.tr, Online Services Center. If you forget your password, you can assign a new one after you call 4440532 / 4440535 Turkcell Customer Services and pass the test of answering your personal ID information.


How can I cancel an instruction?

You can cancel the instruction temporarily by calling 4440532 / 4440535 Turkcell Customer Services. To cancel the instruction permanently, you can do that by accessing the Online Services Center with your SüperŞifre or applying to the nearest Turkcell Extra point with a petition.


For which banks’ credit cards can instruction

All the credit cards of the banks that are located in Turkey can be used in the TurkcellMobilePayment service. Credit cards of foreign banks cannot be used.

By TEB internet banking, you can only give instruction for TEB credit cards.


I did two different shops with TurkcellMobilePayment. But I only received one confirmation message coming from 2424. Could there be a problem?

This is not a problem. You cannot request another shop until you confirm a shopyou have done with TurkcellMobilePayment. First, confirm the first shopping by sending your Mobile Payment password to 2424. Then proceed with the other shop.


I haven’t got the message asking me to enter my password for the payment confirmation. What should I do?

You have to call the Customer Services of the store.


Who should I forward my questions and complaints about the goods I paid for by TurkcellMobilePayment service?

For this service, Turkcell is just the provision provider. The responsibility for the goods purchased via TurkcellMobilePayment service belongs to the shopping places. You have to contact the shopping place for your questions and complaints.


If I have more than one credit card in my Mobile Wallet, can I choose which credit card to use while paying?

If you don’t assert the contrary, the prior credit card is used while shopping. If you want to pay with a different credit card, you have to enter your password, leave a space, enter your credit card’s abbreviation while confirming your shopping request (password abbreviation) (for example: 1234 WRLD)


I applied for TurkcellMobilePayment service but I’ve been denied. Why?

  • If your line is shut down or you can’t receive SMS, you can’t subscribe because you can’t use the process of mobile payment.
  • In the applications done through Turkcell channels, we obtain provision from your bank to confirm your credit card. If this provision hasn’t been taken, your application is denied.
  • When you try to give instruction for a new credit card, the ID information you gave for the first instruction must be the same as the second one if you gave an instruction with the same line beforehand. If this information is different, you can’t subscribe to TurkcellMobilePayment.
  • If you gave instruction for the same card before, a new subscription cannot be made.
  • If the information you give is wrong or inadequate, subscription cannot be made.
  • If you have three credit cards identified on your Mobile Wallet, a new subscription cannot be made.
  • If you exceed instruction limit or instruction entry try limit, subscription cannot be made.
  • If the credit card you’re trying to give instruction for is recorded at Mobile Payment and payback is requested by the credit card owner, subscription cannot be made.

What is the charge for TurkcellMobilePayment?

Turkcell bill payment and loading units operations are free.

All the other successful payments done by SMS are priced 2 SMS. Successful payments done by WAP are charged 2 SMS plus GPRS cost for the time you were connected to wap. The other SMSs sent while using TurkcellMobilePayment service are free. The payments done by Pepsi automats are charged 1 unit/10 Ykrş. Each successful Bilyoner load is charged 4 SMS.


Does my cell phone model matter in using the TurkcellMobilePayment service?

No additional feature or technology is required to benefit from the TurkcellMobilePayment service. If you can send SMS, you can use this service, no matter what your cell phone model is. To use the TurkcellMobilePayment service wap channels, your cell phone must support wap.


How can I change my information in TurkcellMobilePayment instruction?

You can change the abbreviations of your credit cards, your prior credit card, shipping address and/or your password by accessing the Online Services Center, by calling 4440532/4440535 Turkcell Customer Services or by applying to the nearest TurkcellExtra. You can change the deadline date of credit card usage and mobile wallet limits only with your line of your Mobile Wallet 1. The instructions given via TEB internet banking can be updated via Turkcell Customer Services or Turkcell Extra points. To keep the shipping address updated is the responsibility of the credit card owner.


How can I apply for TurkcellMobilePayment?

You can fill out a TurkcellMobilePayment instruction form by accessing the Online Services Center’s subscription menu, by going to the nearest Turkcell Extra and by entering www.teb.com.tr web page if you have a TEB credit card. This form includes credit card information and other required information.

While applying for TurkcellMobilePayment, you have to have the credit card you will make payments with and your ID card with you. Once you give instructions, you will never be asked for your credit card and ID information during the mobile payment process. While giving instructions, you enter the information of the credit card you will make payments with in the TurkcellMobilePayment service, credit card limits, the 4-letter-abbreviation you will use for your credit card (for example: “maxi” for Maximum card) and other required information. The TurkcellMobilePayment instruction is filled out only by the credit card owner. In the applications made to Turkcell Extra points, 10 YKrş provision fee is taken from the credit card to confirm the validity of the credit card that will be used in the TurkcellMobilePayment system.


What is the difference between TurkcellMobilePayment and the other means of payment on the internet?

In this service, the credit card information is shared only with Turkcell while giving instructions. After giving the instruction, you don’t have to share your credit card information or carry your credit card with you at any point of the shopping life you will do via the TurkcellMobilePayment. So there is no risk that your credit card information will be obtained by third parties.


I sent my confirmation password while making a Mobile Payment but I’ve been informed that the operation hasn’t been approved. What should I do?

You might receive such a message because of the reasons listed below:

  • The credit card’s (the one you identified in the TurkcellMobilePayment application) limit is not enough.
  • The credit card’s (the one you identified in the TurkcellMobilePayment application) deadline date is changed.
  • No provision has been taken because of a reason arising from your bank.
  • You entered your mobile payment password incorrectly three times.

In such a case;

  • You can update your credit card information from the Online Services Center, the nearest Turkcell Extra points or by calling 4440532 / 4440535 Turkcell Customer Services.
  • You can start your shopping from the beginning and enter a different credit card abbreviation along with your password into the confirmation message.
  • You can check your information by contacting your bank.
  • You can assign a new password by calling 4440532/4440535 Turkcell Customer Services.

What is “Credit Card Abbreviation” in instruction form?

You can give three credit card instructions at most for each mobile wallet (you have to fill out a form for each credit card). While giving instruction, you will be asked which credit card is the prior one. If you enter only your TurkcellMobilePayment password at the payment level, the fee is subject to your prior credit card. If you enter the credit card abbreviation you want to pay with after entering your password, the fee is subject to that credit card. It will be useful for you if you give an abbreviation for each credit card that you can easily remember.


Can I give a mobile payment instruction for a credit card that I have given instruction for before?

You can only give one instruction for each credit card. If you want to give a new instruction, you have to cancel the old one with a petition and then give a new one.


Which company official has to apply for TurkcellMobilePayment for a corporate line?

A company official is not necessary for this. The credit card owner can give instructions for the corporate line he's using.


Who can use TurkcellMobilePayment service?

All Turkcell and Hazır Kart subscribers that give instructions for TurkcellMobilePayment can use this service.


What is TurkcellMobilePayment?

With TurkcellMobilePayment service, you can shop and make payments in an easy and safe way via SMS, WAP or the voice answering system. The shopping fee is subject to the credit card in your mobile wallet.


What is the most amount of credit cards can I give instructions for?

You can identify only one credit card for each instruction. You can have three credit cards at the most in a mobile wallet. You have to give instructions for each credit card if you want to have three credit cards in your mobile wallet.

You can give only one credit card instruction on the Online Services Center. You have to apply to the nearest Turkcell Extra point to identify more credit cards.


How can I give a TurkcellMobilePayment instruction?

You can subscribe to the TurkcellMobilePayment service by,

  • Filling out the form after accessing the Online Services Center with your SüperŞifre and choosing TurkcellMobilePayment from the “Subscription” menu.
  • Filling out a TurkcellMobilePayment instruction form at the nearest Turkcell Extra point.
  • Filling out the form on the TEB internet banking web page if you have a TEB credit card.

How will I assign the limits of my Mobile Wallet?

The credit card owner has the right to assign a monthly limit to each credit card in his mobile wallet. But these limits cannot exceed 5.000 YTL for the instructions given via Extra and TEB internet banking, and cannot exceed 250 YTL for the instructions given via the Online Services Center.

The transaction cannot be done if you want to do a shop exceeding the upper limit of 250 YTL for the TurkcellMobilePayment instructions given via the Online Services Center. If you want to use the same card for this operation, you can give another instruction at a Turkcell Extra point for another card or after you cancel that card’s instruction. If you use a TEB credit card, you have to give a new TurkcellMobilePayment instruction by entering the TEB internet banking.

In case of cancellation of the TurkcellMobilePayment subscription after doing the shopping; if you make a new subscription in the same month, the new limit for that month is calculated by deducting the shopping fee from the new upper limit. The usable limit for the next month will be the upper limit that was assigned.

The shopping places, which are a member of the TurkcellMobilePayment system, keep the right to assign a monthly limit independently except the limits assigned by the credit card owner. And these limits will be regarded. For these limits, you can contact the related shopping places.

In case the shopping limits credit card owner and shopping places assigned exceed the limits assigned by the bank for the credit card, the bank’s limits will be regarded. The bank is the object of usage constraints arising from the bank’s implementations.
